Jim and Samantha Herring are the founders and Senior Pastors of Abundant Life Family Church located in Fort Worth, Texas. They are originally from North Carolina where they met and married. Soon after, they moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma to attend Rhema Bible College. Pastor Jim graduated from Rhema in 1993, specializing in pastoral ministry. He also received a Bachelor of Science degree in Church Ministry from Southwestern Assemblies of God University in Waxahachie, Texas.

 

In 2001, God led them to start a church in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex. With a strong desire to see people saved, restored, taught, and trained, they founded Abundant Life Family Church. Since its inception, Abundant Life has continued to grow and work to create ministries that help people become committed followers of Jesus.

 

They are both talented Bible teachers who convey God’s Word with passion, humor, and practicality. They have taught in churches and Bible schools nationally and internationally. Besides their dedication to God’s family, they also delight in spending time with their two college-aged children.
